To ensure proposals are issued on time using the systems provided, and to ensure the proposed solution meets the customer’s needs and objectives.
Assist in the development or standard working practices within the department to ensure smooth timely submission of proposals.
Liase with suppliers of proprietary equipment
Liase with site installation contractors
Maintain records of all work done in the appropriate company systems.
Develop and maintain good, working relationships with the client at all times to establish his/her needs.
Attend site visits
Assist in sales visits to customer and present when required.
Be an active part of the sales team, undertaking status and chase up calls to customers etc.

Engineering background, degree or similar
Good communication skills at all levels in house
Good written and verbal communication skills
Capable of utilising IT systems such as word, excel, PowerPoint, access Auto-cad etc
Driven with a ‘can do’ attitude
